(Carlsbad, NM) Carlsbad, New Mexico is in for quite the show this summer. CavernFest is set to take place June 3rd in downtown Carlsbad. Carlsbad Main Street has teamed with Curtis McKinney, local promotor and co-host of the nationally syndicated radio shows Cranked Up Live and Cranked Up Country and James Jeda, CEO of the Rocktagon Sports & Music Network to bring the City of Carlsbad an event sure to entertain.

Performing at the free all ages event will be headliner Restless Heart, along with Highway Women, Hannah Isabella Rose, and Rocktagon Worldwide Music recording artist Brian James Schram. Not only will locals have the opportunity of seeing nationally touring acts live, but will also get their fifteen minutes of fame by appearing in a music video for Brian James Schram’s upcoming single, ‘Summer Life’ that will be released on a global platform reaching millions of viewers. Rocktagon has called upon the front man of New Jersey based rock band American Grim and famed videographer, Ryan Grim to shoot the music video and meet with fans.

Best Country Radio, based out of Las Vegas, NV will be broadcasting during CavernFest. Best Country Radio is owned by Jeda and the Rocktagon Sports & Music Network. Locals can stop by the Best Country Radio booth to meet on air personalities and Brian James Schram.

Carlsbad Main Street Executive Director, Karla Parker Hamel stated, “This is the 2nd Annual CavernFest and we are so excited about it. Carlsbad Main Street has a vision for Carlsbad; to be a lively, vibrant place where people can shop, eat, and find entertainment on weekdays, weekends and evenings. Carlsbad Main Streets goal is to stimulate our community and CavernFest does that; we have people coming to town visiting the Caverns, the Living Desert, the Water Park, dining in our restaurants and staying in our hotels. This event is a big economic boost and strengthens not only downtown, but all of Carlsbad.  CavernFest has solidified its place in our community and organizations such as the Rocktagon Sports & Music Network coming to town to film our great city is amazing.”

CavernFest will be held from noon to 11 pm and is expected to draw thousands downtown for free live music, vendors, food trucks and more. Families are encouraged to bring the whole gang to take part in activities designed for children, as well as a VIP Beer Garden for adults.

Beer Garden and VIP Tickets are available at the Carlsbad Main Street office or at www.carlsbadmainstreet.org. For more information you can call 575-628-3768
